In 1995 awarded a scholarship for one year to Cornell University, USA; Master of Science in Tourism Development and Management at the University of Buckinghamshire, England. Mr Buthelezi provides strategic management and direction to ensure that tangible benefits for both Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife and local communities are derived from commercial operations, inside and outside protected areas with specific emphasis on the Public Private Partnership process. He was awarded the Paul Harris award from Rotary International." [1]
