Biographical Information

"Glen Saunders is an investment banker, company director, financial and strategic consultant and chartered accountant with extensive experience in banking, investment, financial and strategic planning. He was a main board director of the Dutch Triodos Bank until 2001 overseeing its rapid growth in the UK. He has served as a director of numerous financial investment initiatives including the Western Partnership for Sustainable Development and the Local Investment Fund, a public-private partnership in the UK. Moving to New Zealand in 2002, he served as a Guardian of the New Zealand Superannuation Fund chairing its responsible investment committee. He is currently a director of a number of companies with an emphasis on responsible investment and related services. He chairs Prometheus Finance in New Zealand and Social Enterprise Finance Australia. He is chair of Sustainalytics. He is an adviser to New Zealand government departments and agencies and is assisting some of New Zealand’s largest foundations in developing their investment activities. He continues as a senior adviser to the executive board of Triodos Bank."[1]
