Biographical Information

"I qualified as a Reiki Master/Teacher in 1997 and in June 2003 joined the complementary therapy team at UCLH working within cancer services.

"Initially my work was with adult patients in haematology. In addition to this I was employed to work as part of a multi disciplinary team in paediatric oncology with children from 0-12 as well as teenagers from 13-19 with cancer.

"It has been a great pleasure and challenge to work as a healer within the NHS seeing the benefits it has made to many lives, old and young. It is wonderful to be able to offer patients the benefits of a holistic model of care.

"One of my goals now is to spread the word on how complementary medicine can benefit those within the hospital setting and privately . My work was featured on the BBC 1's programme Inside Out London in October 2005 and my goal is to reach as many people as possible with the knowledge that there are many ways to help ourselves in our difficult times."
