"In May 2010 the Eden Project was awarded funding to develop and deliver the Green Foundation programme by Cornwall Clusters (Learning Partnership for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly) as part of the European Social Fund's Convergence Investment.

"The Convergence aim was to develop sustainable cluster groups that were responsive to local circumstances, promoted the benefits of training to employers and upskilled the local workforce.

"Eden worked primarily with small to medium sized businesses, all based in Cornwall, to build a resilient business community with shared goals, that could thrive in a low-carbon economy. "[1]
