"Helge Weiner-Trapness is a Founding Partner of Quintus Partners and is based in its New York office. Prior to Quintus Partners, he spent 14 years in Hong Kong where he was most recently Managing Director and Co-Global Head of the Financial Institutions Group at Barclays.

Prior to Barclays, Mr Weiner-Trapness spent two years as a Group Managing Director and COO of Asia Pacific Land, an Asia based and focused real estate private equity firm. Between 2002 and 2008, he was a Managing Director with JP Morgan Securities. While at JP Morgan, he served as Chairman and CEO of JP Morgan Securities (Asia Pacific) Ltd. from 2005 until 2008. He started his career in banking with Goldman, Sachs & Co. as an analyst in New York in 1987. He spent most of the next 13 years with Goldman Sachs in New York where he was made Managing Director in 1999 and moved to Goldman’s Hong Kong office in 2000.
