Biographical Information

"Mr. Henri Lachmann served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Modicon Corporation. Mr. Lachmann served as the Chief Executive Officer of Schneider Electric SA since February 25, 1999. Since 1971, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of Financière Strafor (later Strafor Facom), where from 1981 to 1997, he served as Chairman. In 1970, he joined Compagnie Industrielle et Financière de Pompey. Mr. Lachmann began his career in 1963 with Arthur Andersen, where he served successively as auditor, then as manager of the Accounting Review Department. He serves as Chairman of the Foundation for Continental Law and Fondation pour le Droit Continental, Chairman of Telemaque Foundation, non-voting Director at Fimalac, Member of the Board of the Foundation Entreprendre, President of the Advisory Board of Campus of Excellency at the Commissariat General a l'Investissement (Grand Emprunt), Vice-President and Treasurer of Institut Montaigne and member of the Steering Committee of the Institut de l'Entreprise.

"He is also an Officer of the French Legion d'Honneur, an Officer of the French Order of Academic Palms and a Commander in the National Order of Merit. He has been Chairman of the Marie Lannelongue Surgical Center since 2006. He serves as the Chairman of Supervisory Board of Schneider Electric SA and previously served as its Chairman of the Board of Directors since February 25, 1999 and as its Director since 1996. Mr. Lachmann served as the Chairman of Schneider Electric Industries S.A.S. He serves as Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Vivendi. Mr. Lachmann served as a Vice Chairman of Vivendi Universal Publishing S.A. since April 2005. Mr. Lachmann's other Directorships and functions include: Director of a number of Schneider Electric subsidiaries; Director of FINAXA, various Axa subsidiaries, and Association Nationale des Sociétés par Actions (ANSA). He serves as a Non Voting Director of Tajan. He serves as Director of Etablissements de Dietrich & Cie and PlaNet Finance. He serves as Member of the Board of Axa Mutuelles. He has been Director of CARMAT SAS since January 2011. Mr. Lachmann has been a Member of the Supervisory Board at Vivendi and Vivendi Universal Publishing S.A. since April 28, 2005 and Norbert Dentressangle SA (Formerly Groupe Norbert Dentressangle) since March 9, 1998; and serves as Member of Supervisory Board of Norbert-Dentressangle SA. He has been Non Voting Director of Fimalac SA since December 3, 2002. Mr. Lachmann has been a Director of Vivendi Universal Publishing S.A. since December 2000. Mr. Lachmann served as a Director of Schneider Electric Industries S.A.S. since 1996. He served as a Director of Vivendi since 2000. He served as Independent Member of Supervisory Board of AXA from May 1996 to April 30, 2009. Mr. Lachmann holds Graduate Degree in Accounting from Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) Paris Business School in 1961 and Certified Public Accountant from AICPA."
