Biographical Information

"Hugh has spent his career in the learning and development industry as a teacher, trainer and executive director working in the UK, France, Spain and Russia. He was managing director of Reed Learning plc for seven years and whilst there he launched and developed successful partnerships with Google, Royal Holloway University of London, the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland and the American Society of Training and Development amongst others. Prior to Reed, he spent seven years at the Institute for International Research in a variety of executive positions, launching, developing and restructuring training businesses across Europe, Africa and the Americas. In the 1990s he set up his own training business in Moscow providing business and language training services to international blue chips and major Russian companies; he also briefly played for the Pravda five-a-side football team. Throughout his career Hugh has volunteered with the state education sector and third sectors as a school governor and supporter of The Prince's Trust, Business in the Community and Teach First."[1]
