Biographical Information

"Ian Mukherjee is the founder and Chief Investment Officer of Amiya Capital, a fund that invests principally in Emerging Markets with $1.8bn under management. Prior to founding Amiya in 2005, Ian was a Partner and Managing director of Goldman Sachs where he spent 14 years including 6 based out in Asia.

"A supporter of philanthropy, Ian is a Gold Patron of the Prince's Trust and sits on their Invest in Futures Committee. He is a firm believer in entrepreneurial spirit and admires what the Prince’s Trust has done to inspire and get the best out of young people enabling them to make a real contribution to society.

"Ian is a keen runner and each year for the past five years has completed both the Great North Run and the Royal Parks half marathon in support of Get Kids Going! a national charity which provides specially built sport wheelchairs giving disabled children and young people the opportunity to participate in sport."[1]
