The Institute for the Study of Terrorism (not to be confused with the Research Foundation for the Study of Terrorism or the Research Institute for the Study of Conflict and Terrorism) was a terrorism research group established in 1985 by the London based South African author Jillian Becker and the right wing British politician Lord Chalfont. The Institute was registered as a charity on 6 October 1988 and removed from the Charities Register on 10 February 2000. powerbase
