A report from August 2008 noted: "The Board of Instore announces the appointment, with effect from 18th August 2008, of two additional Non-Executive Directors, Mrs Anne Tomlinson and Mr Rashid Tayub. Anne Tomlinson, 63, was until January 2008, Chief Executive of wholesale co-operative, The Sterling Supergroup Ltd. The Board considers Mrs Tomlinson to be independent. Rashid Tayub, 59, is a director of Crown Crest Group Ltd, a company which indirectly owns Seaham Investments Ltd, the Company's majority shareholder. Accordingly Mr Tayub is not deemed to be independent...The Board of Instore has also appointed Mr John Jackson as its Chairman, and Mr Rashid Tayub as its Deputy Chairman. Mr Jackson has stepped down from membership of the Audit Committee, which now has a membership of John Richards (Committee Chairman), Anne Tomlinson and Rashid Tayub. Mr Jackson will continue to act as the designated Senior Independent Director." [1]
