The International Association for Indoor Air Quality (IAIAQ) appears to be nothing more than an alternative name for the subsidiary of Associates for Research on Indoor Air (ARIA), which was the first real WhiteCoat organisation, set up initially in the UK. (IAPAG was earlier in the USA, but never counted as a WhiteCoats operation.

The ARIA group also set up Indoor Air International (IAI) which ran conferences and had its own newsletter, Air Mail. IAIAQ was a susbsidiary of the IAI, and it was registered in Switzerland by the three key members of the tobacco industry front, Associates for Research on Indoor Air (ARIA), George Leslie, Frank Lanau, and Roger Perry.

It's main purposed was as a business name registration for the IAI/ARIA a publishing house. They later changed the name and IAI became known as ISBE (International Society of the Built Environment) in 1992. This was also administered by George Leslie and his wife Kathleen. [1]. It published the Indoor + Built Environment. Journal[1][2]
