Biographical Information

Oceans 5 Program Director. "Prior to joining Oceans Five, Chuck Fox served in senior positions with federal and state governments, as well as nonprofit and philanthropic organizations. He was nominated by President Clinton and confirmed by the U.S. Senate to direct the national water program at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, a position that involved managing a budget of about $2.4 billion and 2,400 employees. He served as the Secretary of the Maryland Department of Natural Resources under Governor Parris Glendening, a position that also involved Senate confirmation. Fox also directed the international ocean conservation programs for the Pew Charitable Trusts and served with several conservation organizations including American Rivers, Friends of the Earth and the Environmental Policy Institute. Fox is viewed as a thoughtful, results-oriented manager with almost 30 years of experience in the field.[1]
