Jack E. McCants

Jack E. McCants "is a former Christian minister from a Methodist Church and a retired public and mental health executive. Mr. McCants served as a member of the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of the United States for 16 years. His outstanding Bahá’í services have also included travel teaching, pioneering, membership in Auxiliary Boards as well as participating in collaborative projects with several Hands of the Cause of God. On behalf of the National Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of the United States, he presented to former President Jimmy Carter »The Promise of World Peace«, the peace statement issued by the Universal House of Justice in 1985.

"Mr. McCants pioneered for 8 years to the Pacific Islands as well as to Kenya, where he was honored to live with the Hand of the Cause of God William Sears and his wife Marguerite. Having served and worked so closely with a number of the Hands of the Cause allows him to share wonderful stories with his audience. Mr. McCants, a father of three children, currently lives in Houston, Texas with his wife Cathy McCants." [1]
