Jamal Khashoggi "is a journalist and publisher from Saudi Arabia, and former editor of the broadsheet newspapers, Arab News (in English) and Al-Watan (in Arabic). He is currently in London and working as an advisor to the Saudi Ambassador to Britain on media issues." [1]

He is the press adviser to Prince Turki al-Faisal, and he is "a cousin of the multimillionaire arms merchant Adnan Khashoggi". [2]
