Biographical Information

"From December 2004 through to December 2007, Mr. Mooney served as a director and chairman of the board of RCN Corporation, a U.S. regional provider of cable, pay television and fixed line telephony services. From April 2001 to September 2002, Mr. Mooney was the executive vice president and chief operating officer of Nextel Communications Inc., a mobile telephony provider. Prior to joining Nextel, from January 2000 to January 2001, Mr. Mooney was first the chief financial officer, then the chief executive officer and chief operating officer of Tradeout Inc., an asset management firm jointly owned by GE Capital Corp., EBay Inc. and Benchmark Capital. Mr. Mooney was the chief financial officer at Baan Company, a business management software provider that had dual headquarters in Amsterdam and Virginia, from 1999 to 2000. From 1980 to March 1999, Mr. Mooney held a number of positions with IBM Corporation, including his last position as the chief financial officer of the Americas. Mr. Mooney is also a director of Sirius XM Radio, Inc., a satellite radio company and Sidera Networks. He holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in finance from Notre Dame University and New York University, respectively." [1]
