James S. Crown "joined Henry Crown and Company in 1985 as Vice President and became President in 2003. He earned a B.A. in 1976 from Hampshire College and received his law degree in 1980 from Stanford University Law School. He had been a director of Bank One Corporation from 1991 until 2004. Mr. Crown is also a director of General Dynamics Corporation and Sara Lee Corporation. He is Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the University of Chicago and a trustee of the Museum of Science and Industry and the Orchestral Association." [1]

His wife is Paula Crown.

His father is Lester Crown and his sister is Susan Crown.
