Biographical Information

"Joanne Cash is a barrister, equality and human rights campaigner and writer. She stood for parliament in 2010 as the conservative candidate in Westminster North and remains an active political campaigner, credited with helping to extend free speech under the recent Libel Reform Act. As a non-executive director of Mind Gym she is overseeing the development of innovative diversity training for workplaces. Her first book – on the bias faced by women and girls in Britain today – is at the research stage."[1] She was the unsuccessful Conservative Party candidate for Westminster North in the 2010 general election. In December 2007, Cash married Octavius Black, the managing director of The Mind Gym. [1]
