Biographical Information

"Mr. John J. Haley has been the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Towers Watson & Co. since January 1, 2010. Mr. Haley serves as the Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer and President of Ringley House LLP. Mr. Haley served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Watson Wyatt Worldwide Inc., (formerly, Watson Wyatt & Company Holdings) from January 1, 1999 until its merger. He workes with the World Economic Forum and his colleagues at Watson Wyatt to conduct ground breaking research into the impact of changing demographics on mature and developing economies around the world. He served as Global Director of Benefits Group. He served as President of Watson Wyatt Worldwide, Inc. since January 1, 1999. He joined Watson Wyatt Worldwide in 1977. Mr. Haley served as a Director of Watson Wyatt Worldwide Inc., since 1992. He serves as a Director of Watson Wyatt LLP. He has been an Independent Director of Hudson Highland Group Inc., since April 2003. He has been a Director of Maximus, Inc., since June 2002. He is a Member of the Board of Directors of Employee Benefit Research Institute. He serves on the Board of Directors of the US-China Business Council. He is a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, the International Actuarial Association, and the International Association of Consulting Actuaries. He is a Trustee of The Actuarial Foundation. He served as the Lead Director of Hudson Highland Group Inc. He also served on the Technical Panel of Experts for President Clinton's Advisory Council on Social Security. He is also Chairperson of the Society of Actuaries Committee on Guides to Professional Conduct. He is a Co-Author of Fundamentals of Private Pensions (University of Pennsylvania Press). He was a recipient of the prestigious Marco Polo Award, which recognized Watson Wyatt's commitment to China's economic development. Mr. Haley is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, and the Conference of Consulting Actuaries. Mr. Haley is a Consulting Actuary, primarily in the retirement field, where he specializes in consulting for large companies. Mr. Haley holds an A.B. Degree in Mathematics from Rutgers College, and received a Fellowship for two years of study at the Graduate School of Mathematics at Yale University."[1] Prior to the merger of Watson Wyatt Worldwide and Towers Perrin, John was president, chief executive officer and chairman of the board of Watson Wyatt.

John also serves on the board of directors of MAXIMUS and Hudson Global, Inc. He is a Fellow of both the Society of Actuaries and the Conference of Consulting Actuaries, and has served as a trustee of The Actuarial Foundation.
