"John is Chairman of Cording Group and has thirty-five years of experience in investment markets. He spent thirteen years as an equity fund manager before founding Morgan Grenfell Property Asset Management (latterly Deutsche Property Asset Management and then RREEF) in 1989, creating a series of UK property specialist sector funds.

"He then became a director of the property forecasting and strategy firm, Real Estate Strategy Limited, before that business was placed into a joint venture with Henderson in 1993 to create a new property fund management business. He became Head of Property when Henderson was merged with AMP Asset Management, building and overseeing a global property investment business with operations in the US, Europe and Asia Pacific, with a global range of investment products.

"John then set up the independent fiduciary brand Cordea Savills in 2003 and had overall responsibility for the forming of a pan-European business through the creation of a suite of property funds, including specialist and diversified UK funds, specialist retail funds and pan-European funds. Savills acquired the management’s equity interest in Cordea Savills in 2010. "[1]
