Joseph Ha "is Vice President for International Business and Government Relations at Nike. Dr. Ha currently serves as Professor of International Politics at Portland State University, Lewis & Clark College, and the Russian Academy of Sciences. He is also the Director of the Trans-Pacific Institute and a Nike board member in Japan, Korea, China, and the Philippines. Dr. Ha has served as the New York Regional Director of the Peace Corps, and is a past president of the World Affairs Council of Oregon. He has authored fifty scholarly articles and authored or co-authored seven books." [1]

"A native of Korea, Dr. Ha serves on many boards including the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, World Affairs Councils of America, Japan-America Society of Oregon and the Pacific Northwest International Trade Association. He serves on the boards of Nike/Japan, Nike Mexico, Nike Brazil and as Chair of Nike Sports Korea Board, and vice chair of the board of Nike China Sports Co., (Suzhou), Ltd. Dr. Ha was instrumental in developing Portland's sister city relationships with Khabarovsk, Russia and Ulsan, Korea, and he is an advisor to federal, state and local leaders on international affairs. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations." [2]
