Julie Anderson Schaffner "is Visiting Associate Professor of International Economics in the Fletcher School at Tufts University. Former Senior Research Scholar and Deputy Director of the Stanford University Center for Research on Economic Development and Policy Reform, Dr. Schaffner has published widely on poverty reduction and economic development. She is the co-author (with Judith Dean and Stephen Smith) of Attacking Poverty in the Developing World: Christian Practitioners and Academics in Collaboration. She received her B.A. from the University of Michigan and her PhD in Economics from Yale University. She is a member of the Multi-Faith Board of Advisors of the Council on Faith & International Affairs." [1]
