Julie Corcoran is the Deputy Vice President of Government Affairs at the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA).[1]
Corcoran is a member of the Health and Human Services Task Force for the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC).[2]

ALEC is a corporate bill mill. It is not just a lobby or a front group; it is much more powerful than that. Background
Before joining PhRMA, Corcoran worked as a health policy counsel and oversight counsel for the U.S. House of Representatives Energy and Commerce Committee. She also formerly served as an associate independent counsel in the Office of Independent Counsel Kenneth Starr.[3]
She was a lobbyist for PhRMA in California in 2005.[4]
