Juliette Gimon "is a Family Council Member of the Flora Family Foundation. In 2000, as one of the first fellows of the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, she co-founded the Global Philanthropy Forum, which is now a project of the World Affairs Council of Northern California. The Forum acts as a catalyst for international philanthropy by connecting grantmakers to vehicles for overseas giving, linking foundations and government agencies to partners in other countries, and highlighting issues of global concern. Since its launch, Ms. Gimon served as its Outreach and Development Coordinator.
"Previously, she designed and implemented recycling programs for Fundación Natura, an Ecuadorian conservation foundation. The year prior, she volunteered with WorldTeach as an English instructor to middle and high school students outside Quito, Ecuador. Ms. Gimon earned her BA in Anthropology from Columbia University. She currently serves on the boards of both The Synergos Institute and The Global Fund for Children. She also serves on the Advisory Committees of Youth Philanthropy Worldwide and the Global Philanthropy Forum."
