Keith Murdoch

Keith Murdoch was an Australian media mogul and father of Rupert Murdoch. He was a close associate of Prime Minister Robert Menzies and was involved in many activities supporting the Liberal Party in opposition to the Australian union movement and the Labor Party. He was knighted for his services. He ran, but did not outright own, the Melbourne Herald and Weekly Times group. See Institute of Public Affairs.
