Biographical Information

"Kevin Sadler became a Headteacher in 2002 and has successfully steered two schools to Ofsted Outstanding accreditations. He has now taken the role of Chief Executive to the Gateway Learning Community Trust that incorporates the Gateway Academy, the Gateway Primary Free School, Herringham Primary Academy and Lansdowne Primary Academy. He has been heavily involved in the Free School programme and successfully opened the Gateway Primary Free School in September 2012. He was central to the establishment of Gateway Connect Alternative Provision in 2007 and currently chairs its Board. Connect provides a blueprint for the Good Life Free School application providing much needed vocational learning opportunities for the most vulnerable students within areas of significantly high deprivation. Kevin Sadler is an accredited Ofsted Inspector and until 2010 was a School Improvement Partner working in a number of schools in Essex. Kevin trained as a music teacher and has held a number of teaching posts in Essex and London."[1]
