Larry Tanz "currently serves as President and Chief Operating Officer of Agility Studios, which partners with creative people to build multiplatform businesses around intellectual property.

"Before joining Agility Studios, Tanz was CEO and President of LivePlanet, an entertainment company that includes Matt Damon and Ben Affleck as founders. He oversaw all of LivePlanet’s business activities and structured its financing deals and advertising and marketing partnerships. He also oversaw development and production for numerous film and television projects, serving as Producer or Executive Producer on the Emmy-nominated series Project Greenlight for Bravo and HBO, the feature film Running the Sahara, the feature film First Descent for Universal Pictures, the multiplatform Race to E3 for MTV, the series The Entertainer for E!, the online series Fan Club for MSN; he also co-produced of the feature film Feast for The Weinstein Company.

"Tanz co-founded a charity in 2006 with partners Matt Damon, Keith Quinn, and Marc Joubert which later became known as H2O Africa Foundation. In 2009, the H2O Africa Foundation combined forces with WaterPartners International.

"Prior to joining LivePlanet, Larry served as Director of Strategy and Operations at AOL Time Warner, where he was a founder of Netscape Netbusiness, a major new business initiative for AOL. Before joining AOLTW he was a Senior Associate at Mercer Management Consulting, where he helped Fortune 100 clients develop and implement new products and strategies. Engagements ranged from Internet to retail, and included over a year on the ground working with clients in Southeast Asia." [1]
