Laura Chick

Laura Chick is the Los Angeles City Controller. She was re-elected to the position in 2005 for her second and last term in the position. In September 2005 she indicated she would consider running for the position of state controller in 2006. [1]

Chick's audits of the Departments of Airports and Water and Power contracts with the PR company Fleishman-Hillard resulted in several executives being charged for their role in overbilling the department.
