Biographical Information

"Mrs Mohohlo is the Governor of the Bank of Botswana, a position she has held since 1999.

"She holds a Bachelors Degree in Economics from George Washington University, Washington DC, a Masters Degree in Finance and Investment from University of Exeter, UK and a Diploma in Accounting and Business Studies from the University of Botswana.

"She joined the Bank of Botswana in 1976 and has served the Bank in a number of capacities, including Board Secretary, Deputy Director of Research, Director of the Financial Market Department and Deputy Governor. Mrs Mohohlo has also worked for the International Monetary Fund in the African Department and the Monetary and Exchange Affairs Department.

"She is also a member of the Board of Directors of Air Botswana, UB Foundation Board and the Botswana Institute of Development Policy Analysis. In addition Mrs Mohohlo is a member of the Board of Governors of the International Monetary Fund. "[1]
