"Christopher Tugendhat has been Chancellor of the University of Bath since 1998. He began life as a journalist with The Financial Times and is the author of several books. He also chairs the University Court and attends the University Council. Lord Tugendhat was educated at Ampleforth College and Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge, of which he is an Honorary Fellow. He has been awarded an Honorary Doctor of Laws by the University of Bath and an Honorary Doctor of Letters by UMIST."
