Marc E. Babej is the president of Reason, Inc. - a New York-based marketing strategy consultancy that operates in four practice areas: Reason-Based Strategy, Motivation Engineering, Marketing Contingencies and Actionable Futurism.

A former journalist, Babej previously was as senior vice president/strategy director at advertising agencies D'Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles and JWT.

Babej has been published in almost every major marketing publication, on topics ranging from marketing strategy to the impact of U.S.-German tensions during the Gulf War on German brands in the U.S. He has also been featured in several New York Times articles, on subjects such as General Motors marketing and ramifications of U.S. foreign policy on U.S.-based global brands.
