Marcia Prenguber

"Marcia Prenguber is a board certified naturopathic oncologist who received her naturopathic doctoral degree from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Ore. She also received a master’s degree in special education from Johns Hopkins University, and a master’s degree in education administration from California State University, Fullerton. She is the Dean of the College of Naturopathic Medicine at the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. Prior to that she was the Director of Integrative Care at Indiana University Health Goshen Center for Cancer Care, Goshen, Indiana, working with a team of oncologists in the development and implementation of a cancer treatment plan that uses an patient focused integrative approach. She has lectured nationally and internationally on a variety of topics, including menopause, the use of botanical medicine in oncology, integrative medicine, and naturopathic residencies. Dr. Prenguber is the past president of the Council on Naturopathic Medical Education, the federally-recognized accrediting agency for naturopathic medical education. She is a founding member of and currently serves on the Naturopathic Post Graduate Association, the US and Canadian agency for naturopathic residencies. She is on the editorial advisory board of Vital Link, the journal of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors." [1]
