Marcus Einfeld is a former Federal Court of Australia judge, prominent human rights advocate and businessman.

In 2006 Einfeld testified in a magistrates court that the driver of his car at the time of a traffic infringement was a visiting U.S. academic. However, the women had been dead for three years. As the crisis gathered momentum Einfeld hired the Australian public relations firm CPR.

Einfeld was also President of the now-defunct non-profit legal group, Australian Legal Resources International.
