Mark Paton

Mark Paton is Managing Director, Institutional and Corporate Relationships at ANZ.

"Prior to this role he was Group Managing Director of the Corporate division which supported over 220,000 businesses across Australia, providing debt, equity, advisory, transaction banking, working capital and risk management services.

"Mark has been in the banking industry since 1978. He joined ANZ in 1990 following ANZ's acquisition of National Mutual Royal Bank, where he had managed a number of Corporate and International customers. Mark's prior roles with ANZ include Managing Director Trade and Transaction Services, Industry Head in Institutional and State Manager Business Banking for New South Wales. Prior to joining ANZ, Mark had a ten year career with Westpac in Corporate banking.

"Mark holds a Masters in Banking Management from Macquarie Graduate School of Management and is an alumnus of Columbia University, INSEAD and IMD. He is also a Director and Treasurer of the Foundation for Young Australians."
