Dr. Martha Warnock, M.D. is a pathologist at the University of Chicago's Pritzker School of Medicine. She reported on a link between asbestos fiber and lung cancer in an article co-authored with Andrew Churg, "Association of asbestos and bronchogenic carcinoma in a population with low asbestos exposure", Cancer 35:1236-1242, 1975. They collaborated on other papers as well: "Pulmonary tumorlet. A form of peripheral carcinoid" Cancer 37:1469-1477, 1976, and "So-called 'Minute pulmonary chemodectoma.'" Cancer 37:1759-1769, 1976.
