Biographical Information

Maud was appointed Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce president and CEO on June 19, 2012. She stepped into this role after 10 years with Seattle-Northwest Securities Corporation (SNW), a Seattle-based independent, employee-owned, regionally focused investment bank, broker-dealer and asset management firm specializing in debt securities and related businesses...Daudon is currently the Chair of the Washington Student Achievement Council, co-chair of WSDOT and the city of Seattle’s Advisory Committee on Tolling and Traffic, serves as a chair of the board of trustees for the Bullitt Foundation, and as a past chair and trustee for Seattle Biomedical Research Institute. She was recently named as a member of Mayor-elect Ed Murray's transition team. Past leasership roles include serving on Governor Gregoire’s Higher Education Funding Task Force. In 2010, she was recognized as one of the Puget Sound Business Journal’s “Women of Influence.” [1]

"Ms. Maud Daudon served as the Chief Executive Officer and President at Seattle Northwest Securities Corp. from August 24, 2006 to April 16, 2012. Ms. Daudon also served as the Chief Executive Officer and President at SNW Asset Management, LLC until April 16, 2012. She serves as a Member of Executive Board at the Seattle Biological Research Institute and as a Trustee of Seattle Biomedical Research Institute. She joined Seattle Northwest on February 1, 2002 and previously served as the Managing Director of Investment Banking and Municipal Sales and Trading at the firm. Prior to joining Seattle Northwest, Ms. Daudon served for four years as a Deputy Mayor and Chief of Staff for the City of Seattle, focusing on overall City strategy, public safety, labor issues, budget, information technology, and personnel. Prior to this role, she was the Chief Financial Officer at the Port of Seattle for six years and held other finance-related positions for another two years. Ms. Daudon gained significant experience in public finance by working for six years after transportation and public works-related bond financings for a national investment banking firm from their New York and Seattle offices. She is a Member of the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board, effective October 1, 2006. Ms. Daudon is on the Executive and Audit Committees for the Greater Seattle Chamber of Commerce, and is a Trustee for the World Affairs Council. She has a Master of Public and Private Management (M.P.P.M.) with emphasis on Finance and Economic Development from Yale University and a B.A. from Hampshire College." [1]
