Nalini Varma "s a qualified social worker with experience of working in a local authority social services department and over 18 years management experience (paid and voluntary) in the charity sector. She was Chief Executive of the Rainer Foundation prior to taking the organisation through a merger with the Royal Philanthropic Society to form RPS/Rainer.
"Nalini is Chair of the UK Grants Committee, the Give It Sum Committee and a former Trustee of the Diana, Princess of Wales Memorial Fund.
"She works as an independent management consultant and is a Lay Member of the General Medical Council, the Criminal Injuries Compensation Appeals Panel and is a Board Member of the Children and Families Court Advisory Support Service." [1]
