"Neil joined Make-A-Wish in October 2004, after spending 13 years as the Communications Director of the Charities Aid Foundation. He has one daughter, Ellie, and his hobbies include cooking, travel and practical jokes! He also enjoys regular visits to the gym and has four times completed the Great North Run to raise funds for Make-A-Wish. For his sins, Neil is a lifelong football fan and claims to have Leicester City running through his blood!

"Neil loves his role with Make-A-Wish and says that leading the organisation is a "real privilege". And in an increasingly complicated world, he’s constantly impressed by the simplicity of our mission. "This is a real ‘does what it says on the tin’ organisation. We work with some of the most deserving children imaginable – real young people, not just statistics. By granting them their wish, they get hope and optimism, something to look forward to. And we know from all the thousands of wishes that we’ve granted that they really do work. It’s that simple"." [1]
