Rosenberg as President and Chief Executive Officer effective immediately. Rosenberg will be based at the Foundation's Washington, DC office where he will be building a national advocacy role for the Foundation on early childhood development issues...

"Rosenberg is a nationally recognized non-profit leader with over 20 years of experience in policy development. Most recently, he served as the Executive Director of the New Israel Fund in Washington, DC. During his tenure, the Fund's income quadrupled and its donor base doubled.

"A law graduate from the State University of New York at Buffalo (1971), Rosenberg began his career as an Assistant Professor of Law at his alma mater. In 1977, he was tapped as Director of Bazelon Center for Mental Health where he was involved with a variety of landmark cases, as well as federal legislation that helped people with disabilities enter mainstream American life. He joined the New Israel Fund in 1990." [1]
