ORYGEN Research Centre was "established as a partnership with the Colonial Foundation, the University of Melbourne and Melbourne Health. This partnership means that the Centre is aligned with an academic educational and research institute of international standing, and with a health care network that provides the largest mental health program in Australia. The partnership provides the basis for the enactment of a diverse range of “real world” clinical research activities." [1] The Early Psychosis Prevention and Intervention Centre is part of the ORYGEN Youth Health.

Funding

"Community Health is the largest area of funding for Colonial Foundation, and includes the trust’s largest single project, a $13 million five-year grant to establish the ORYGEN Research Centre for research into youth mental health." [2]
