Biographical Information

"Oliver Smith is Chair of CHEM Trust's Board of Trustees. Oliver Smith is the Deputy Director of Programmes at WWF-UK. Before joining WWF he was a computer programmer, management consultant and IT director of a computer retail company. In a career over ten years in WWF he has worked in Fundraising, for the Chief Executive and was in charge of Strategy and Performance Management for WWF-UK and was the principle author of the WWF-UK strategy for 2006-2010. He was acting Director of Conservation from January until July 2007.

"He is now in charge of national teams in Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Sustainable Consumption and Programme Development Teams at the headquarters of WWF-UK, and sits on a variety of WWF network committees including the Conservation Committee. As well as being a Trustee of CHEM Trust he is also a Trustee of ARC, the Alliance of Religions and Conservation. "[1]
