"Olof Johansson is Senior Vice President, Environment and Sustainable Development at Sveaskog in Sweden. A forest company wholly owned by the Swedish state, Sveaskog is Sweden’s largest forest owner with 4.1 million hectares of land, corresponding to 14% of the country’s total forest area. The core business is forestry and timber sales.

"Prior to working with Sveaskog, Mr. Johansson was Consultant on Education and Training at the National Environmental Board, Sweden from 1984-87. He was Ecologist at Domänverket (National Forest Service) from 1988-93, Senior Ecologist at AssiDomän from 1994-2001 and from 2002 held various positions at Sveaskog.

"He has authored numerous publications and books on management of forests, wetlands, and meadows in Sweden. Mr. Johansson has also served as Chair of the Board of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). He is currently Chair of the Board of Forest Trends as well as of Sveaskog Timber."[1]
