Biographical Information

Paddy Lillis is the Deputy General Secretary of Usdaw. He was elected in August 2004. "Paddy, who now lives in the North West, is an active Labour Party member. He is a member of the Labour Party National Executive Committee (NEC) and sits on the Audit Committee and was the Co-Convenor for the Education and Skills Commission. He is a former member of the Prosperity and Work Commission and also the former Vice-President of UNI Commerce Sector Europe. Paddy is a member of the Justice for Colombia National Committee. He was previously an executive member of the Wales TUC and the South Wales TUC General Councils and he was also a Local Authority Councillor for ten years. Paddy is the Chair of Usdaw's National Lifelong Learning Steering Group."[1]
