Biographical Information

"Ms. Totah joined The Philanthropy Workshop West in December 2010, bringing with her a diverse background that includes work in education, administration and philanthropy. ... Ms. Totah has been a life-long member of and volunteer with numerous nonprofit organizations. In particular, Ms. Totah has a tremendous passion for her work with Be The Match, the National Marrow Donor Program. She has helped raise over $25,000 for the organization and has planned and overseen dozens of marrow drives in the United States and abroad. She works as a liaison between Be The Match and ethnically diverse groups, focusing on increasing participation of underrepresented ethnic communities in the national registry. Moreover, Ms. Totah works with international aid organizations that seek to support the rights, well-being and sustainability of communities worldwide. She brings to TPW West more than 15 years of experience in community involvement and awareness campaigns dedicated to promoting change locally and internationally. Ms. Totah holds a B.A. in Child and Adolescent Development from San Francisco State University’s Edelman Institute and a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from San Francisco State University’s College of Extended Learning."
