Paul Crespo is Managing Director of C3 Crespo Communications, LLC "which focuses on public policy, advocacy and media strategies" and President of Civica Americana "(Hispanic-American Civics Foundation), a non-profit organization that promotes American values, heritage, citizenship and constitutional and free-market principles in the Hispanic community as well as in Latin America."[1]

Crespo is a "bilingual political analyst, consultant and commentator in Miami"; an Adjunct Fellow with the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies;[2] a member of the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) (UK);[1] and a member of the Council on Emerging National Security Affairs (CENSA) in Washington, D.C.[2]

Crespo "has written for various national and international venues such as Human Events and NewsMax Magazine, and his articles have appeared in The Washington Times, Tiempos del Mundo, American Legion Magazine, and Townhall.com"[1] The American Enterprise Institute Magazine Online and the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS).[2]

Crespo "appears frequently on local and international cable TV networks including CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, Telemundo and Univision."[1] "In 2003 he was the on-air military analyst for the local TV news (Fox affiliate) in Miami during the Iraq war."[2]

Crespo "also worked for the Ackerman Group in Miami as an international political risk and corporate security consultant -- and kidnap negotiator -- advising multinational corporations in Latin America."[2]

Crespo is a former U.S. Marine Corps Reserve officer, who "served in airborne, infantry and artillery units in the US, and with a Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable) in the Far East. He also was a Liaison Officer (Reserve) with the Fleet Marine Forces Europe HQ in London. Later he served as an intelligence officer with the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). As a Reserve Assistant Naval Attaché (military diplomat), Captain Crespo served on active duty (in various Attaché capacities), at US embassies in the Balkans (Croatia and Bosnia), Persian Gulf (Qatar and Saudi Arabia) and Latin America (Venezuela)."[1]

"Much earlier, he was an investment advisor/broker with Lehman Brothers in New York City."[1]

Crespo "graduated from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and has a Masters Degree in War Studies from the University of London and a Masters Degree in International Relations from Cambridge University in the UK."[1]
