Biographical Information

"Peter Marino serves as chairman of TASC’s board of directors, guiding the overall strategic mission of the company. In this role, Marino offers leadership and expertise built upon his broad industry background, extensive professional experience and history with TASC. Marino has served as a member of TASC’s board of directors since 2009.

"Since 1999, Marino has worked as a private consultant for government and industry on defense and intelligence issues. Clients have included Departments of Defense and Home land Security, the Central Intelligence Agency, Raytheon, and Boeing. Marino has also consulted for the National Reconnaissance Office and the Director of National Intelligence. In addition, he was a member of the Defense Science Board and the Intelligence Science Board.

"Marino held executive positions with Fire Arms Training Systems, Raytheon, E-Systems, Fairchild Industries and Lockheed Martin Corporation between 1986 and 1999. From 1970 to 1986, he served in numerous capacities at the CIA. At one point, he was a technical officer and manager responsible for developing advanced electronic, mechanical and communications equipment. He also served as deputy director for the Office of Research and Development. His ultimate position with the agency was Director of Technical Service. Early in his professional career, Marino worked at Pennsylvania State University and the Pratt Whitney Division of United Technologies.

"Among the many awards he has received, Marino was honored with a Distinguished Intelligence Medal and, in 2004, with the Director of Central Intelligence Award for Exceptional Service. He has been a member of scores of advisory boards in both the public and private sectors, including serving as chairman of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency Advisory Group and principle of The Center for Excellence in Government."
