Biographical Information

"Peter is a founder of Greenwood Gardens, a New Jersey non-profit organization promoting historic garden restoration, horticulture, natural history, and open space preservation. He is a graduate of Princeton University and received an MFA in forestry from Yale University. He currently serves on a number of boards, including the Dendroica Foundation, the Frick Collection, and the Helen Clay Frick Foundation. He has also served on the boards of the Trust for Public Land; The Nature Conservancy (Maine Chapter); The Nature Conservancy (NJ Chapter); and RARE. Peter lives in Manhattan and Somevilles, Maine. Peter is the author of We Were an Island: The Maine Life of Art and Nan Kellam." [1]
