• Accra Climate Change Talks 2008: August 21-27, 2008 in Accra, Ghana. The talks have been convened to progress work on "emission reduction rules and tools under the Kyoto Protocol and further develop the United Nations’ Climate Change Convention.

• International NGO Meeting About Climate Change will be held September 1, 2008, in Copenhagen, Denmark, as part of preparation for COP15.

• COP14 is "the 14th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), along with the 4th Session of the Meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol), which will take place on 1 – 12 December 2008 in Poznań," Poland.
