Premium Standard Farms

Premium Standard Farms, prior to its merger with Smithfield Foods, was "the second-largest hog producer and sixth-largest pork packer and processor, with annual revenues of about $900 million."[1] The merger, announced in 2006, was approved by the U.S. Department of Justice in 2007.
