Biographical Information

near-death experience, a phrase he coined in the late seventies. He is the author of Life After Life, Reunions and eleven other books, as well as numerous academic and professional articles.

Dr. Moody lectures on Near Death Experiences, Death with Dignity, Life After Loss, Re-unions: Visionary Encounters with Departed Loved Ones, The Loss of Children and many other topics, as well as training hospice workers, clergy and medical professionals on the dying process. He is a recipient of the World Humanitarian Award.

Dr. Moody is a founding member of the International Association for Near-Death Studies.
