Rejean Gourde

Réjean Gourde "joined Cambior in 1987 as General Manager of the Val d'Or Division. In 1994, he was transferred to Guyana as Vice President, General Manager of Omai Gold Mines Limited and, in 1997, was promoted to Senior Vice President, Guiana Shield. His responsabilities include the management of operations and projects in the Guiana Shield including Omai Gold Mines and Gross Rosebel in Suriname. Mr. Gourde earned a mining engineering degree from École Polytechnique of Montreal. Prior to joining Cambior he worked in project development and operations for Falconbridge Copper and Ressources Aiguebelle. Mr. Gourde is a member of the Quebec Order of Engineers and of the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy."
